More organizations should come forward to vaccines

 - Dr. Meher Medavaram:

Representing the Women’s Wing of AAPI, Dr. Meher Medavaram opined that there is a need for more service organizations to come forward to prevent cervical cancer, which is a leading cause of death for women in India. She said that since the Cervical cancer vaccine costs around Rs. 8,000 for two doses and is expensive, it is difficult for all the women in a developing country like India to have them. It is a reason why the AAPI chose 100 people first with the joint participation of Tanveer Hospital and administering vaccines free of charge to the poorest of the poor.
