In recognition to the dedicated medical services of Dr. Jupally Rakesh Reddy to the society, AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) USA, has sent him a special invitation to participate in their upcoming 40th Convention being held from 23rd June to 26th June. In regards to the same the current AAPIPresident Dr. Anupama Gotimukala has sent the invitation letter to Dr. Jupally Rakesh Reddy.
Dr. Jupally Rakesh Reddy thanked AAPI President Dr. Anupama
Gotimukala, and overseas director Dr. Duvvuri Dwarakanath Reddy via a public
notice for sending him a special invitation from the AAPI Community. He
expressed happiness to participate the Convention. Going down the memory lane
he emphasized on how doctors of Indian origin were treated differently in the
USA in the initial days when they were migrating from India and how AAPI
(American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) USA had come into
existence after facing all the hardships. He also said that it was after Dr.
Anupama becoming the President who belonged to the Telugu States, AAPI had
started numerous medical service activities both in the USA and in India
simultaneously. They have adopted certain villages in India and they are
providing medical services over there. Dr. J Rakesh Reddy also said that they
have provided Covid Kits during Covid-19 Period and providing medical
treatments to 10 lakh people through 14 clinics is commendable. He also said
that they have provided free cervical cancer vaccination to 100 women from poor
families which had costed them Rs.8 lakhs and that they are running huge
awareness campaigns regarding Cervical Cancer which is the second major reason
for deaths in women. He also wished that under the able leadership of Dr.
Anupama and Dr. Duvvuru Dwaranakath Reddy, the citizens of India should receive
more medical services and help.
